Prism’s Redevelopment of Historic Thomas Edison Complex Continues to Draw Renters of all Ages

WEST ORANGE, N.J., July 31, 2019 – With leasing at the half-way mark, Edison Village recently hosted a well-attended resident referral party at The Residences at Edison Lofts. Prism Capital Partners’ industrial-to-residential-and-retail redevelopment of the historic Thomas Edison Invention Factory and Commerce Center sits along 21 acres on Main Street in West Orange.

Increasingly, residents are leasing at the property because they know someone who lives there – the best possible testament to the community’s quality (and quality of life). To date, nearly one dozen leases have resulted from referrals.

For the event, residents invited friends, family members and business colleagues to join them on Edison Lofts’ expansive rooftop Sky Lounge, which features 360-degree views of the surrounding areas and Manhattan skyline, a mix of seating options, barbeque grills and a fire pit. Pictured (L-R) are resident Christian Quaritius, guests Kelly and Con Hartnett, and resident Ken Goldenberg. Married couple Quaritius and Goldenberg have been enjoying life at Edison Village for the past year.

The Residences at Edison Lofts features 300 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes and a full complement of modern amenities. The project also includes 18,400 square feet of retail, a 630-space parking structure, and The Mews at Edison Lofts, a boutique collection of 34 one- and two-bedroom homes.
