Maintenance Technician
Regional New Jersey-based, Real Estate Development Company, has a great career opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Technician for multiple commercial buildings located in northern NJ. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the continued inspection, maintenance, and control of the physical building and its systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Conducting site and tenant suite inspections.
- Maintaining a preventive maintenance program.
- Hands-on repairs consisting of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
- Scheduling routine and required inspections of the Life Safety Systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency generators.
- Coordinating the maintenance of grounds, including cleaning of parking areas.
- Responding to maintenance issues as required under the Property Manager’s direction.
- On-call 24 hours a day, seven days per week, 365 days per year, to respond to operational problems and initiate emergency response plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Blue and Black seal is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Initiative-taking self-starter with strong customer service skills.
- Proficient in all trades, including electrical and plumbing, emphasizing HVAC.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
